This property is well maintained, looks very lovely; the owners are very friendly and gave very clear instruction for check-in, made very nice breakfast for us. I would highly recommend this place.
The property was beautiful and the hospitality was top notch . I especially enjoyed the lovely flower gardens and the walk around the pond. I will definitely stay again at this property.
Our stay was better than we could have anticipated. The house was very clean and the outdoor space was awesome! The hosts communicated very well and were so friendly. Highly recommend!!!
Donna and Alan were fantastic host! They were super communicative and nice. The B&B and property is absolutely beautiful, and the breakfast were delicious! We are very grateful that they let our pups, Willow and Rosie, stay as well in their dog friendly room. Thank you for the great hospitality and highly recommend!
My stay was short but the Paper Mill Pines B&B was just lovely! The house was beautifully decorated for fall, the property had gorgeous views and there was a quaint little hiking trail my pup and I enjoyed…and my room, The Cedar Room, was cozy, clean and had all the amenities of home. I would certainly recommend to anyone e traveling through the area.
Life for two working parents with three young kids gets hectic so for the second year I sent my husband off for a long weekend at Donna & Al's property. His first getaway was so relaxing that it was an easy decision for me to book the weekend at their place again. He enjoyed the peaceful setting and took advantage of the slower pace to hike at the state park during the day and sit outside in the evening reading. The private space was clean, comfortable, and soothing and he enjoyed some lowkey conversation (and the company of the cat) in the shared spaces. With such positive feedback, Donna & Al's property may become his annual father's day retreat for a little R&R!
Donna, and Alan have a beautiful bed & breakfast., and they are very nice people. The room was spotless, and had great amenities. The breakfast was better than great ! The grounds were very well kept. They made us feel at home from the minute we arrived, until the minute we left. Hope to be able to stay there again.
If you’re looking for a cozy, inviting, beautiful place to stay; book now!! Walking into the smell of pine, made it feel like the holidays. I couldn’t get over the decorations, lovely smell, and the warm comforting feel the host’s provided. My boyfriend and I came over a very cold weekend around the holidays and the cozy stay was just what we needed. They have a lovely homemade breakfast over the weekend with fresh tapped maple syrup for the pancakes and local jam from a small town local business. We went to a winterfest in bloomsburg and bough crafts from local vendors, hiked at Ricketts glen, and enjoyed some local breweries. My only complaint is that we didn’t stay long enough!! I would have loved more time back at the place to play board games and watch movies in their common area, but we ran out of time.. We will definitely be back! Hoping to bring my whole family next time, knowing they will love it as much as I did!
The property was beautiful and well-maintained. We enjoyed the peaceful setting and the gazebo that overlooked the pond. A Great Blue Heron fished from the dock the whole time we sat there. Donna and Al were welcoming without being intrusive. The home is well-stocked, clean and welcoming. We would recommend it wholeheartedly and plan to return.
My girlfriend and I stayed here for her birthday before going to the state park. Our room was immaculately cleaned and smelled great. The hosts are so hospitable and kind. Wonderful coffee bar with snacks, waters, and plates. The property is gorgeous, their pet dog is adorable, and the trail around the pond was very nice. Breakfast was spectacular!!!! This was our first bed and breakfast experience and it could not have been more relaxing and delightful. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Definitely will be recommending :)
My friend Ed found this property, and I always trust her to find the best places. We had gone to a blues festival and this place was about 20 miles away. Although it was difficult to find in the dark, I made it with no issues. Nice surroundings. Very quiet. Place backs up to a pond; they have spent a lot of time and money to make you feel at home.
Each room is individually equipped with its own heating and cooling system. A big plus is each room has its own shower and bathtub so you don’t have to step outside your room to take a shower.
The host and hostess of this house took extra special time to make sure that we could find it, and that our needs were met. In addition, the guests were very interesting and we had great conversations over a well made breakfast.
We will be back again
Thanks Donna and Allen
What a beautiful property! Donna was an excellent host and we enjoyed our time outside on the walking trail by the pond and a bonfire at night. We were able to bring our dogs and had a wonderful time. We will certainly be back!
Our stay was wonderful!! It was quite relaxing and cozy environment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hosts were very friendly and thought about our every need..Hidden gem an amazing experience!
Donna & Al are fabulous hosts with an amazingly beautiful home.
Donna graciously recommended a nearby restaurant and even made dinner reservations for us.
Delicious, Homemade country breakfast each morning. Was nice to talk to other couples about the adventures of Ricketts Glen.
Fire-pit lit each evening.
They truly have thought of everything down to a basket of toiletries in the upstairs common area just in case you forgot something. They .make their guests feel at home.
Looking forward to a return visit!
An incredibly beautiful place inside and out. The grounds are lush, with a walking trail around the lake, a lovely pavilion, and a fire pit area. Can’t wait to return.
My husband and I wanted to get away a few days and found Donna and Al's property which was exactly as listed, it is a beautiful property, spotless, with beautiful grounds. Breakfast was delicious. Donna and Al were so helpful and made our visit to the area better than we could have imagined. We visited Ricketts Glen State park, beautiful winery's, antique stores and great restaurants. We can not thank them enough for sharing their beautiful place with us.
We had a wonderful time getting away. The house was just immaculate and beautifully decorated. Our room was super clean and felt very romantic. The breakfast was delicious and served hot! We enjoyed breakfast on the back patio while watching the birds and the beautiful scenery. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone looking for a quiet weekend away from your busy life. Thanks for the awesome hospitality Donna and Al!
