This charming, recently updated cabin blends rustic character with modern comforts. The property does not sit on the river but includes private river access within a few minutes walk or drive — an ideal getaway for families or couples looking to relax, play on the water, and explore the heart of the Hill Country.



This Hunt house boasts 3 inviting bedrooms, including 2 king beds, a crib, and a bunk bed. Guests enjoy 4 bathrooms, some featuring a jetted bathtub and refreshing showers. The charming living room offers a cozy sofa bed, perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. With soothing spaces throughout, this awesome home provides comfort and convenience for families or groups. We think our place will help you experience everything Hunt has to offer.

• Private river park just a 3–5-minute walk from the front door (or a quick drive; unloading and parking on-site is fine)
• Pop-up tent, lily pad float, tubes, life vests, canoe, kayak, and paddles all provided — boats stored at the river park
• The South Fork headwaters mean some of the cleanest, clearest water on the Guadalupe — great for all ages and water activities
• “The Tubs” — a beloved spot where shallow channels and pools invite exploring on foot (a kids’ favorite!)
• Ping pong, cornhole, trampoline swing, and a hammock on-site, bring binoculars for great birding

A Note from Your Hosts
Our family has spent years coming to Hunt for camp and river days, and we fell in love with the Hilltop Cabin during our time here as guests. When we learned it was on the market, we knew it was meant to be ours to share. We completed many updates after purchasing in February 2026, and we’re honored to be part of this community.
This area holds a special place in our hearts. A small angel sculpture on the property serves as a memorial to those we lost in the tragic Fourth of July flood — including dear friends of our granddaughter.
