Everything about this hotel is awesome. Except for.... you must make sure you tell the Grab driver the correct hotel. There are 2 locations of 1969s. lol.... I booked the wrong one and went to the wrong one. They are so nice that they helped me transferred my room to the correct location from the incorrect one.

The room was very clean and had been recently painted - this was obvious due to the paint splashes on the floor and net curtains. It is also single glazing so even on the 11th floor outside noises can be heard. There is also no international power points or USB ports in the room but the staff were very helpful in getting an adapter for the room. The location is in a residential area so grab / taxi is needed to get to Ipoh’s points of interest.
