Enjoyed my stay here. Hotel is nice and clean. Breakfast was great, staff is very helpful and kind. Shoutout to Muhammad who took care of us during our stay and helped us with everything we asked for, I would come back to stay at the hotel just because of him.

Excellent rest, well located for wandering

From the gracious welcome to the kind service and friendly goodbye, I was impressed at every encounter with the thoughtful staff. Comfortable hotel, quiet and comfortable, well located near restaurants and beach but also a nice place to rest after a long journey (with good blackout curtains!

Quick organisation of airport transfer, a friendly receptionist greeted us with an umbrella at the car and offered refreshments while he took care of the paperwork, clean room (personaly would perfer more daylight in the room), tasty breakfast

Staff was superb, especially Vineesh for airport pick up. Everyone we encountered greeted us with a smile and 5-star service (much better than the resort in which we stayed at). Thank you for making our stay near the airport so wonderful and accommodating for our baby.

Rooms are small and compact, but service is amazing. Arjuun went above and beyond as did the staff at Ocean Grand, their sister hotel around the corner. Those rooms have the views as the hotel is right on the waterfront. Can’t go wrong with either place. I recommend.

2 minute walk to nice beach. Free breakfast next door at Ocean Grand was buffet style. Best thing was the view as we ate on the rooftop. Very reasonable for tasty dinner there as well. Contrary to a couple reviews, there was plenty of hot water in shower. Not much English speaking TV channels.

Upon coming off the boat from Maldives the hotel driver was waiting for us, helped us with our luggage, when we had arrived 10 minutes later it started to rain, we were greeted by two others that gave us a umbrella each and handled our luggage to reception, easy check in & everything was explained about breakfast bar etc, all of the room was explained fully, we had a lovely room with great views, dinner was very good and reasonable & the view was of the bay & the airport, easy checkout. It was too early for breakfast as we were leaving at 6.30am, we were given a takeaway breakfast to eat later, very helpful when being dropped off, they handled the luggage & told us where to go, fabulous customer service from the start to the end.

Great location

Samann host is a linked to many sister hotels of the Samann group. The location in Hulhumale is a block from the beach located in a cozy side street. Landing pattern for the airports sea plane will be heard for a few minutes during the day. Many food and shopping locations in the area. Cons: lack of hot water only in the shower Amenities kit - shower soap subpar - no cleaning power washed away very easily. Pros: the staff very friendly, knowledgeable, & helpful Great breakfast options!
