I was greeted and taxied to the hotel from my arrival dock. The staff were exceptionally attentive and helpful. The restaurant offered the best Indian cuisine I had ever had!

This property owner said they don't work with Expedia. I had confirmed booking from Expedia but the guy at reception denied by booking from 8th Aug - 15th Aug. Expedia customer care did not even help me out with the situation as well. The guy at reception said we don't work with Expedia anymore I don't have any room for you, go find another place. Please don't book this property from Expedia, as according to this hotel they said Expedia to delist them 3-4 months ago. There is some fraud going on at some level, as Expedia said it's not the case, and the guy at reception denied my booking. BE CAREFUL.

overall good experience, albeit staff were creepy

everything was okay. except the staff, they are a bit creepy (the way they behave and look at you). I have difficulty understanding what they are saying. I know it is English, but the sentence structure does not make any sense.

Super service und sehr komfortabel

Super freundliches und hilfsbereiten Personal. Zimmer sind sauber und die Betten super bequem mit ordentlichem Kopfkissen und Decke. Tee und Kaffee Station vorhanden und kostenfrei. Lage ist zwar an der Hauptstraße aber nahe beim Bushaltestelle zum Flughafen. Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen.

Basic hotel for overnight stay in Male

This hotel is very basic. The staff at the front desk was a bit rude. The room smelled moldy but was overall pretty clean. It is a fine hotel if you have to stay overnight in Male before your seaplane transfer.

You are only good before payment!

The check in was good and smooth. The check out on the next morning was awful. There was a change of staff and the new staff were rude. They practically threw us out of the hotel room. We found out that they had delayed passengers of an earlier pick up time and had kicked us out earlier so that we could share the same car to the airport. This is unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff was nice but the place is impossible to find even though its on the main road. As for the Bombay Indian restaurant (which is pretty good). The hotel is adequate at best but you staff here for the location to the airport.

I used this hotel as last day exit from Maldives. Closer to the airport. So if you plan to use local ferry to reach airport, go one day before to be sure that you reach the airport. If your resort is far and bad weather it may be a problem getting on time to the airport. Loved the stay :)

we just stopover at this hotel for the transit in Male. Budget price with clean room. I'm appreciated the hotel reception explained to me the way how to get on the transportation around the area. their services offered is more than I expected. Good value!

Hotellet som sådant var helt okej givet priset. Saknade någonstans att hänga handdukar och badkläder. Hotellet säljer även utflykter, vi bokade en sådan och fick tyvärr inte alls vad som utlovats. Välj en annan utflyktsleverantör

Elva nätter på hotellet med frukost var perfekt p.g.a. av placering, 50 meter från stranden med snorkling, bra start för olika utflykter och 15 min. promenad till färjeterminal var man kunde åka med båt till grandön, Male, huvudstaden

Good service with luggage as there is no lift. Airport transfer as quoted by Expedia on my reservation comfirmation not $7.00'return but $20.00. I paid $10.00 for a one way to airport. Expedia please correct this. A little language difficulty as I only speak English Otherwise this place is OK Value for money.

Perfect Hotel for a bridge day!!!Helpful staff

Staff was very nice and front desk was very helpful in getting things organized with the resort we went to. Even though we left earlier than the official BF time,the front desk representative prepared a small breakfast for us. From start to end the Newtown Inn was a good experience and it is the perfect stay when landing late and having to bridge a day.
