Perhaps a few amenities would have made our stay 5 Star, such as an in room coffee maker ( The French press was a disaster and coffee tasted like mud.) An in room mini fridge would have been helpful to chill the complimentary waters. Bathrobes would have been greatly appreciated to go along with the lovely slippers. The hotel is convenient and the food was good, but the reception area is small and the modern design is not really my taste. The rooms are fine, but the beds were not very comfortable. There is no real spa, and the gym is too small for a hotel in this category. Overall, I would rate it closer to a 3-star hotel than a true 5-star hotel. "We checked into the Sheraton Hotel a few days before we embarked on a cruise sailing out of Rotterdam. The Hotel is "connected" to the Schiphol Airport, and is extremely convenient for travelers who plan to spend time in Amsterdam or make connections to other cities in the Netherlands or European countries. The room was quite spacious and well-appointed, providing a comfortable stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. We'll certainly return to this Hotel if we visit Amsterdam again."

"We stayed here during the June '26 heatwave. While there was no air-conditioning in the room, we were comfortable. The restaurant was cool and food (dinner and breakfast) over the two days was wonderful. No tea/coffee facilities in the room, but access to dispensers in the lobby."
