"Stayed at this amazing property my for one night with work colleagues before a work meeting in Fontainebleau. This is a private residence where the family and small staff serve you as if you are family visiting their home. The difference is the meals and the service are exquisite and your every whim is catered to; including a fire waiting for you outside the home ( … aka mansion) after dinner. "A beautifully restored set of buildings, some from the 15th century, given modern amentities and comfortable rooms. Lovely views all around. This was a 3 night winter stay and everything was pretty quiet - we may have been the only guests. A gastronomic restaurant was open Thursday evening to Sunday. High quality food, but quite expensive for every day. There is probably a layer of catering missing between breakfast and dinner. Nowhere else locally to eat (unless you go into Angers). We would...

"Lovely little place outside Angers with excellent breakfast, good service, a nice pool and a wonderful view."

"Very friendly staff and room very clean. Lovely setting with each room having its own terrace. Dog friendly and there is a great public open space on the other side of the road where dogs can be exercised. Unfortunately we could not use the restaurant because a wedding party was using it. However good restaurants nearby and good room service meant this did not detract too much."
