Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful clean and tidy room. gorgeous country views, fully enjoyed the "special attention" from our hosts. The meals and service were amazing. Chef "Stewart" cooked beyond perfection! The spa pool was very nice and relaxing. We enjoyed the 5 km trail walk around the property. A very calm, relaxing and safe feeling at this lodge. A highly recommend quiet retreat!

I really liked the central location of this hotel especially as it offered free parking. It's easy to walk to spark arena or downtown Parnell from here. The room was clean and had a nice city view. The only negatives I found was the shower is elevated with a large step which might not suit some travellers with limited mobility and the bed is rather firm.

"overall beautiful establishment I had trouble with check in wasn't told their would be a bond and to leave a credit card at reception and then fire alarms went off early in the morning and the whole hotel had to be evacuated for about an hour so next stay I'd like to experience a better stay ."
