"Wonderful accommodations! The room was excellent with very comfortable beds. The fitness room was very nice, as was the pool area. The restaurant and breakfast bar get 5 plus Stars, and the staff from the front desk to the housekeepers were extremely friendly and helpful. A beautiful place to stay. This is an excellent place to stay at…trust me, you’re going to LOVE it!!"

"This little cottage is darling. It is well appointed, and the host has been very thoughtful about all the things that she provides. The location is absolutely perfect. If you are interested in hiking at Pinckney State recreation area. You can even get to some of the trails directly from the house without driving. The little town is also cute! I would stay here again and again. Elizabeth is a lovely, generous, thoughtful host!"

"The house was clean and well maintained. There were a couple doors and windows that could use a few repairs, but certainly didn’t put a damper on the weekend! There was more than enough room for the 8 adults that stayed and plenty of kitchen items for anything we wanted to cook. The fire pit was wonderful and the lake views were fantastic. We felt right at home. We would absolutely rent this house again!!"

"Lakeview was amazing. Beautiful sunrises and Moons at night over the water.Location was perfect for Strawberry and Zukey lake and located right next to the entrance to the river to go to the other lakes. Watching the seaplane take off was an extra thrill. l I have found the 4 sets of chain of lakes in Michigan offer so much. Highly recommend you travel to see them and this place would be perfect to rent to see them. Zukey lake tavern is a must stop and see. Established in 1920 and then closed due to prohibition opened again in 1930 and has remained an on the water stop by boat or land. Neighbors were very friendly and helpful in advice to navigate the area and lakes and also helped with the boat and trailer to get on the property before and after launch. Nice little community. Excellent yard for family fun and activities. Enjoyed our stay and a special thank you to Michelle for her recommendations as well and quick responses.."

"The place is incredibly clean and well maintained with most items needed to stay comfortably. Please note, this house is not accessible for anyone with mobility issues. There is one bathroom on the first floor and the 3 bedrooms are all upstairs (and no banister on steps). Also, though this place is “legally” an allowable rental, there are numerous signs in the neighborhood that are unwelcoming to guests. That said, we found the neighbors pleasant when we walked around in the evening. As someone who stays frequently at VRBOs, small items like bath soap, shampoo, new sponges, paper towels, etc… are expected. These are not provided so be sure to bring your own.Host is very responsive to our questions, and lives nearby if you need anything."
