Loved listening to the water in the morning as I drank my coffee, excellent local coffee by the way. Great location for Boone and Blowing Rock. My brother came to stay with my Mom for a few days. My husband and I and our 6 children rented this place so that we could be close while my brother was in Hickory. Our son had a soccer tournament in Hickory with spaced out game times, rescheduled games due to weather, etc. The Blue Door Guesthouse was our comfortable oasis to relax and enjoy family time. Notified owner we would be arriving late at night and they left lights on in the house for us which was much appreciated.
