"Every year our company takes our top performers on a fishing trip. This year we chose Shangri-La to get some fresh-water fishing in. The house was well stocked, beds comfortable and the house was clean and inviting. Two of us took our boats, so having a boat ramp only minutes away was a bonus. The neighbors were friendly and the Host, Eric, was easy to communicate with and accommodating to our requests. The fishing did not disappoint - one of the guys even caught a citation flat-head catfish! We will definitely return to Shangri-La."

"We had the best time at this cabin. The view was to die for. The cabin is on a quiet cove which is perfect for swimming and fishing. The walk down to the water is very well maintained and has steps leading to it. There’s a pier to tie your boat up at if you’re bringing one. Only recommendation if you’re bringing a boat is to bring some bumpers since you can only tie up on one side. Easy drop in at Mitchell’s Marina. The house itself was the perfect size. We enjoyed cooking dinner and chatting with family since the kitchen and family room are in the same space. We also enjoyed eating on the deck since the weather was so nice. I cannot recommend this place enough. The simplest stays are the best stays. The host was also very responsive and informative."

"We were looking for a getaway, not too far from home. We had a very nice stay at the lake house. If you're looking for outdoor fun and family time, this is a great spot. I loved waking up in the morning with my coffee and looking out at the lake. It was great to just walk outside, grab a kayak and go! We hope to return in the Summer and get some warm-weather fishing in. There is a marina very close by where you can rent boats and/or book fishing charter. The house had everything we needed, we really enjoyed it."
