Guide Hotel Hsinchu Zhongyang
Staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean but the entire place has seen better days. Half the building was closed so it was dark at night and feels spooky.

Sol Hotel
An excellent hotel. Lots of amenities, wonderful service staff and a great location in Hsinchu. Next to the East Gate, restaurants, brewery and markets. Rooms were clean and any issues were immediately taken care of by management. Would stay here again.
