I am my wife stayed here for one night. I would say this property is extremely good, very near to Taj Mahal. The most favourable and romantic part of this property is having a restaurant of Taj Mahal view on top of the building. The most loving experience that we ate pakora and chai in evening while viewing the Taj Mahal is really marvellous. The behaviour of staff is really good.

When I booked this Sun Grand Hotel Agra property along with my family on 19th April to 20th April, 2025, a receptionist name Mr. Shabaz booked a return car for me from Agra to Gurgaon and took a token amount from me in cash. I paid that and then we boarded with the car booked by him. The car model was Toyota Innova, which I liked. After a while the driver asked me to pay the full amount at petrol pump and I denied initially but again he insisted me to pay and I paid fully. After that he told us to change the car and taken all the money from me. In place of that he asked me to get shifted on another car model Ertiga whom he called and asked to come.The new driver asked me to pay again. It's a total scam the made by the employee of the Hotel SHAHBAZ. I will not recommend anyone to go to this hotel. It's totally a scam.

We felt that the room was neglected, the walls had water leakage issues, the rooms were a bit small than our expectations. Additionally the electricity in the rooms kept going off during the night, this is continued the entire night. Turing off the fans and acs and also making noise as well. We couldn’t sleep at all due to this and we were supposed to travel all day the following day and had to leave at 6-7 in the morning. This caused a lot of stress for the journey ahead.
