This was definitely a labor of love from the owners. Everything was so special and personal. Our room was spacious with two balconies! The staff weee friendly and helpful. The Archeological Park of Butrint entrance is just a few steps away making it the perfect place to stay when exploring the ruins.

Friendly helpful staff, good breakfast with varied choice. 1 minute walk to the Butrint Archeological Park which was convenient. Away from the crowds of Ksamil but a 5 minute drive to the cente of town.

Aesthetically from the outside the hotel is quite nice but it has seen better days. Upon entering the "restaurant/reception" was cluttered with a baby stroller, baby music playing, stuff scattered everywhere, and plates of food that looked like they had been there all day. We were offered a small room which was not the one we paid for but that was corrected, but the room was very dated. The lights didn't work on the balcony, the tv didn't work, a smell lingered from the bathroom, and it wasn't that clean. One unexpected positive was a nicely plated breakfast. The staff were efficient but nobody really seemed that interested in us being there. Just going through the motions. After seeing multiple "abandoned" baby strollers throughout the hotel we did finally see the baby when we were enjoying our breakfast. Along with a lady mopping the floor around us, random people coming in a and out. Overall it was definately not the experience we expected but it's definately one of those "Bates motel" experiences you laugh about later.

Room very expensive for a faded place. Restaurant good food at v high prices. I am ASSURED their mussels are imported as local no longer farmed. I think locals pay less.

Location of this hotel was exceptional for the Archaeological park. Dinner was good, as was breakfast. Beds sufficiently comfy. Only fault was the bathrooms were pretty small and no shower curtains so hard to keep water in the shower stall.
