"Looks like any other roadside motel when you arrive, but this hides some nice touches. Very clean small double room, small but modern and sparklingly clean bathroom. Bed comfy, ac a little noisy, but a window with mosquito screen a nice touch. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is a grab and go affair; pop tarts, yoghirt, cereal bars and cheese. There is, however a pleasant modern lobby space to sit down and further seating outside. Some useful eating options within walking distance. Great healthy breakfast options at Blue Corn, a few minutes drive away. I think greenery and some landscaping out front would do justice to this better than average motel. Would definitely stay again."

"We will definitely be back. Kales cottage is perfect for a couple or single with or without a pet. The yard is big with multiple places to relax. It’s very private. There is a hiking trail a block away. The kitchen is wonderfully complete. "
