"We only stayed one night but the home served us well. We hiked and bike, so home's proximity to Jackson River Scenic Trail and Lake Moomaw was very convenient. House was a modest ranch style. Kitchen was well stocked. Water smelled of sulfur, but owners said it had been tested and was deemed potable. Setting of home was rural and pretty, ensuring lovely views from the outside deck and gazebo."

"A great spot to just take a breathe! The house has everything you need and the view is wonderful. Gwen is a wonderful communicator and one can tell she takes pride in the property. "A very peaceful and beautiful getaway. Very secluded property with a lovely view of the river. Ideal spot to unwind and enjoy nature. The house is well-stocked, very clean, and really cozy. The host is very thoughtful and even offered to drive me to various hiking spots. There is a very nice trail very close to the house if you don't feel like driving around a lot. I would plan to get groceries before arriving since the grocery store is a bit of a drive. Highly recommend!!"

"Our stay on Craig Creek was wonderful! The weather was incredibly windy so we couldn't do much on the creek and lost power due to the insane winds Saturday but it was so lovely to be outside and exploring the area right around the cabin. Mitch reported the outage for us and called us when the power was restored to ensure everything was ok. The porch bedroom was amazing as well! It was so nice to wake up with the creek and mountain view directly in front of you and we could see the stars at...

Serenity is one of the best - very quiet and peaceful location, excellent hot tub, well-stocked house in terms of kitchen as well as little touches here and there. The creek offers lots to do and watch (we saw beavers one evening!). We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and have already made reservations to come back again!"

"We had a comfortable 3 night stay at your River retreat en route to Ohio for the solar eclipse. The weather was unfortunately very cold which restricted our outdoor activities. The cabin was cozy and clean with a very comfortable bed. The only thing missing was a toaster! Thank you."
