We spent the weekend at Mammoth Caves (about 25-30 mins away) and this was the perfect spot for us to spend our nights. The host made check-in and check-out a breeze and everything we needed to be comfortable was there. One thing differs from the pictures is they have now installed a full sized stove/oven to replace the hotplate and toaster oven. We had a great time and plan to comeback and finish exploring the area in the near future. I would fully recommend checking this location out if you are looking for a quiet night in the country.
Very compact property, but well supplied. Used it as a crash pad after caving. Enjoyed the remoteness of the area.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
The property was very gross. We got held up on our road trip so did not arrive until 10:30 PM. We walked into an overwhelming musty smell and flies everywhere both alive and dead. Having no other option we cleaned the place ourselves luckily we had our vacuum in the car for a road trip. I have photos of the flies everywhere including the 30 that were in my vacuum container. Underneath all furniture were piles of dust and debris. Towels and bedding had stains on them. “Pet friendly” but there were poison ant traps in every corner very toxic to dogs. We went out hiking the whole next day arriving back at 7pm to way more flies and decided to pack up and go somewhere else we couldn’t take it. I contacted the host to try to work it out between us to her shooting me down stating I was wrong and a couple flies are “not bothersome” I have photos of around 50-60 flies. She also told me she mops and cleans her self and it was spotless to which I said I have actual photos of everything. She told me to contact the site who also wouldn’t help. Don’t make the mistake we did and stay here. I have screenshots of my conversation with the host that I would rather work it out together instead of post a review and she told me to post a review so here it is.
