"I like hotels with charm and character. This antique filled hotel fit the bill and was a great price (when booked well in advance). We stayed three nights. I was given a nice room upgrade to a suite. It is a great, central location. Service at the hotel was excellent. Some small complaints. No amenities like hair conditioner. Also, as others have mentioned, they tacked on a service charge at check out. I do not consider this a normal practice and find it slightly misleading. The sheets and pillows were okay but could have been nicer. I would say it is a four star hotel, not five. Overall, I think it was great overall value and would not hesitate in staying here again."

Otherwise great."

We were not thrilled with our room, which was tiny beyond tiny and unfortunately faced the street and was quite loud until really late at night even though there is nothing below, just people walking by, talking, laughing but somehow acoustics travels strange. That was room #215. But we didn’t bother with changing it, I regret that. But…the hotel itself, the service, the friendliness of all staff, the breakfast is simply outstanding! The beautiful deco is just outstanding. The location is fantastic. I very day I walked out and walked different directions discovering little streets and corners. I can’t recommend enough. Well done!!! And if you can, watch the Mozart dinner which itself is just as impressive. Read the very interesting history of the hotel on their below street level."
