"Lovely place, lovely setting. Stayed either side of the Great North Run. Staff were absolutely lovely, even got complimentary drinks when they found we'd just been running! :) Room very nice and spacious, comfy bed, only complaint would be that room was a tad warm for me, even with radiator off! ..."

"The hotel is in the centre of Boroughbridge. We found the stag so helpful and friendly. Really lovely and welcoming. The rooms are nice however the bathroom needs a full refurb. Breakfast was good."
