Imagine this: You arrive, park right next to your private terrace, and don’t have to lug your suitcases far. You open the door to a lovingly furnished 80-m² holiday apartment—and your holiday begins right away.
The smell of freshly baked bread fills the air, a complimentary welcome drink awaits you in the fridge, and while the kids may already be curiously exploring the apartment, you can finally take a deep breath.

Plus: your own outdoor area, a 4 × 6 m communal pool, a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of extras for families and dogs, and the famous Externsteine within walking distance.

We’ve furnished our holiday rental just the way we’d like to spend our own holidays: cosy, practical, and modern. It’s family-friendly and includes many little touches that are often missing on holiday.

Our goal is simple:
We want you to arrive, unpack, and feel right at home.

🏡 80 m² for your getaway
Our holiday rental offers plenty of space for families, couples, friends, and guests with dogs.
You’ll have access to:
• 1 cosy double bed
• 2 single beds
• 2 sofa beds—suitable for people up to about 1.65 m tall
• Living and dining area
• TV, books, games, and toys

🌿 Private terrace & parking right outside the door
You can park right next to your private terrace—especially convenient with small children, a dog, or lots of luggage.
On the terrace, you can relax, eat together, or simply enjoy the peace and quiet.

💦 The covered pool – 4 × 6 m
Our heated 4 × 6 m pool is generally available to our guests year-round and can be heated to up to 31 °C.

☀️ May through September
Please allow 3 days’ notice to reach your desired pool temperature. On sunny days, we’ll heat the pool free of charge. If additional heating is required, it’s available for an extra charge according to our pool temperature chart.

🍂 Autumn & Winter
A particularly affordable seasonal rate applies from September 28 through April 30. Pool heating and use are available during this period upon request and subject to weather conditions.
In the event of very low outdoor temperatures or frost, the pool heating cannot be operated for technical reasons. A specific water temperature—in particular, 31 °C—cannot therefore be guaranteed.
Please let us know at least 5 days before your arrival if you would like to use the pool. Private use is available upon request. Once the heater is turned on, it may take a while for the desired temperature to be reached.

Of course, the Externsteine and the Hermann Monument are must-sees.

With the visitor’s card, you can enjoy discounts at various attractions and recreational activities in the region. The visitor’s card is required for stays of 2 nights or more and costs €0.60 per person per night. Holzhausen-Externsteine is a recognised health and climatic resort, so the visitor’s tax applies.

For a relaxing start to the day, you can book a small regional breakfast:

Children up to 12 years old: €3.90 per person
