Owner is a sole-proprietor, and she has several buildings where she uses for her hotel. The downstairs of the main hotel is for eating, live music (usually jazz), and for drinks, small bar. She took well care of me, we went together for a few errands, and I picked up a cold virus, so she took me to the pharmacy, and the option of going to the store, also went to the laundromat, as one dryer she has is broken, but for a few hundred yen, the coin laundry dries it in half an hour. Room was clean, plenty of dishes, and a massage chair for unlimited use. I will definitely stay here again. Authentic rooms.

"I thought the property was nice and close to Takaoka station. The room was pretty big compared to the average Japanese hotel, but the room chair for the desk was a simple stool. If you are someone who likes to go shopping at a grocery store for food, the nearest one was about 15-20 minute walk away. ..."

"The AC/heat is not adjustable for temperature, only air volume, so some people may find it too warm. The men’s bath is much nicer than the women’s, (says my wife). I was very happy with the pools on the men’s side. I tried both the Japanese and Western breakfast set meals and found them both very ..."
