Vacation apartment in a very quiet location in the southern Allgäu in Hopferau near Füssen

Our house is located in a very quiet area in Hopferau near Füssen in the “Southern Allgäu” holiday region, close to Neuschwanstein Castle, and is the ideal place for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday any time of year.
You’ll find a warm and cosy atmosphere in our comfortable, newly renovated holiday apartments with free Wi-Fi, which accommodate 2–3 people. Our apartments are equipped with dishwashers. Shopping and restaurants serving home-style cuisine are just a 5-minute walk away. Within a radius of about 10 km, you’ll find many attractions such as Neuschwanstein Castle, the town of Füssen, Lake Forggensee with boat tours, mountain railways, thermal and water parks, an ice rink, a paragliding school, and more.

In winter:
You’ll find wonderful skiing on the superbly groomed slopes within a 10–25 km radius of Schwangau, stretching from Pfronten and Nesselwang all the way to the Tannheimer Valley in Tyrol, Austria.

Hiking and Biking Paradise:
Right from the door, you can enjoy our Alpine foothills as a hiker’s paradise. Take a stroll through the lush green meadows and forests, or around the idyllically situated natural lakes. For a more challenging hike, head up to one of the many alpine huts, which invite you to enjoy a hearty snack. Of course, mountaineers and rock climbers will also find plenty to enjoy as they take in the magnificent mountain panorama from the 2000 - 2400 -meter-high summit. If you enjoy cycling—whether on a mountain bike, trekking bike, or road bike—everyone will find a route that suits them among the many hundreds of kilometres of marked bike trails and paths through our foothills of the Alps. If you don’t want to bring your own bike, there’s a bike rental shop in town with a good selection of all types of bikes.

Attractions: Local guided tours are available at Hopferau Castle, the alpine dairy in Lehern, the Mariahilfer Sudhaus brewery in Speiden, and demonstrations at the local soap factory.

. Swimming and Relaxation: In summer, our natural lakes (Hopfensee, Weißensee, Forggensee, Alatsee, and many more) invite you to swim and sunbathe in their crystal-clear mountain water.

If the water is too cold for you, you can visit the beautifully situated water parks and outdoor pools in Pfronten and Nesselwang.

For peace and relaxation, there’s the “Königliche Kristalltherme” thermal spa in Schwangau, featuring a sauna area and a relaxation grotto.
