"Staff couldn’t be found several times. One example, there wasn’t anyone at the front desk, so I went to the kitchen area, but the lady in the kitchen couldn’t speak English. So after a while of waiting, the clerk returned from walking her dog. Her dog slept in a bed by the desk. Then, the hotel room next door had 2 big dogs that barked constantly. The property was very run down. The room seemed to be clean and were spacious. But I wouldn’t stay there ever again. Definitely overpriced for what we paid."
"We paid for a room in the main building and they put us in the back building. The room there was clean but it had no outlets for your phone near the beds. The TV was not a smart TV. The door to the room was crooked and had a gap. The room was musty. The continental breakfast was okay but they allowed homeless in touching everything and taking food. That made it very uncomfortable."
"Cheap option, will stay one night only, bed creeks and you can hear next dorm, and hallway noises. If you are unlucky like I was, you will not have good rest. However clean, staff friendly and good location."
Holiday Inn Express Lexington Horse Park Area by IHG
8/10 Good
"Since it’s changed ownership, I’m really disappointed that they do not offer coffee in the rooms anymore in the breakfast was just not as good as it had been last year under a different ownership, they said that the reason they weren’t offering coffee the rooms was because of the environment, however, they did full remodels, on an almost brand new hotel to Rebrand"
Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Lexington North
6/10 Okay
"Room was decently clean. Staff was distracted by what appeared to be an employee party being hosted there. The pool was ice cold and the advertised hot tub no longer exists. The main areas were all clean and the breakfast was good."
