Independent in Hope Town

"The Conch Quest was EXACTLY as advertised. The pictures are EXACTLY what you see. Phenomenal views ! Long stretches of beach with nearly no one in sight. The gas grill was used twice. It is not huge but easily handles 4-6 burgers or 2 nice sized steaks and gets SUPER hot. The kitchen was well stocked. The ice maker in the fridge worked great. We will happily return in the future. Reid communicated well and sent lots of useful information. He also turned us over to Lisa Key Hall who helps manage the property. When I tell you that she is your "KEY to the Cay", I mean it. She set up a private taxi to pick us up at the airport. She made sure that the golf cart rental company knew which dock we were getting off at. She checked on us as soon as we arrived to make sure we found everything in order. She checked on us EVERY single day of the trip. She advised of restauarants and nearby stores for various things we wanted. She helped us book a fishing trip. She checked on us both times there was a brief power outage. She immediatly had her husband come re-prime the water pump on the final day as we were getting showers to leave. BE sure to utilize the power of local knowledge, LISA has it as a native of the area. "

"Home was extremely clean and very well thought out. Views were outstanding, and walking straight out into the water was amazing and unlike most other Elbow Cay rentals! Air conditioning was perfect and cold after a long, hot day! Owner, Kevin, is very quick to respond to any questions that arise and handles any issues very quickly. "We had a wonderful vacation! The house is charming with a great kitchen. Our favorite spot was the side patio. The beds were comfortable- and the house had many amenities. We loved the location- right in the center of Hopetown. The house is a 1/2 block from dock, pickleball, beach and golf cart parking. This was our second stay at the Clifford Sawyer House- we are hoping for a third visit in 2027! "

"All I can say is wow! The house was clean and spacious and the beds were so comfortable. Drinking coffee overlooking the ocean from the top deck and watching the sunset was my absolute favorite activity. The owner Doug was very helpful and we were blown away at the hospitality we received from Joanne and her crew. Joanne helped us coordinate our golf carts, boat parking, brought us towels and other very needed items. This easily saved us a full day of trial & error as first timers on the island. Joanne is beyond amazing and made our weekend so special, thank you! "
