The home was thoughtfully and thoroughly appointed, comfortably accommodating our extended family of ten. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the views of the Berkshires were breathtaking. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and we would highly recommend this lovely property. "

"I can only think of two other of the many properties we have rented where we have arrived and the stress just melts away; this is the third…..What a beautiful home, the property is peaceful ( including the evening owl hooting ) and view is fantastic. The house is circa 1969, it has an interesting story along with unbelievably maintained period details, you almost scratch your head wondering if anyone actually lived there for the past 50 years. "The cabin was exactly what my daughter and I were looking for. Everything was clean, organized and family friendly. A bonus was the property connects to Bessie Woods and we were able to go for a hike on the trails without even having to leave the property. "This is an old roadside motel that the owner has truly turned into the cutest place ever. It’s clean and comfortable and so retro. It reminded me so much of when I was a child traveling with my family and the places we were pulling into overnight. This is a perfect place for a little family to stop With chairs for relaxation and a yard for the kids to play in. Check-in was real easy. we arrived late but the young man at the front desk knew we were coming so he waited for us just so we could get ice since the machine was in the lobby, which was about to be locked up. We really appreciated that extra act of kindness. I would advise you to eat before you get to this motel as you will not find many choices for miles up the road. We went in search of dinner and finally just picked up some fried chicken at the Stop & Shop and brought it back to the room. Also note that breakfast is only served on the weekends here.We enjoyed our one night passing through and would absolutely stay here again."
