"Amazing"

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Clifton Park/Saratoga Area

"Overall this is my “go to” hotel in Clifton Park. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the hot tub was heavenly. I was disappointed though that I wasn’t able to either charge a tub of ice cream to my room or pay with Apple Pay. The telephone cable in my room was also loose and didn’t stay connected so I had to keep wiggling it and calling the front desk back. They said they’d fix it but I didn’t bother to check. The breakfast was tolerable but why no bacon?? Only sausage patties floating in grease! Some cold milk and half and half in pitchers would be nice to have at the coffee station as well. My primary complaint though was concerning the WiFi as well as the television. I have an apple phone but the tv would only synch to a Samsung phone so I was stuck either watching the over 100 channels on the tv (mostly local and livestream) or watching my streaming channels on my phone. That in itself was a problem because the WiFi kept dropping off."

"Do not arrive before 3pm, you will be told to come back later. Think receptionist was having a bad weekend our stay… but rest of staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was just ok, bagels, toast, coffee was a bit slow to be refreshed and hot plate was not hot… this was noticed on our 2nd day when “hot food” was to be microwaved. Laundry facilities were ok, standard US top loader and dryer. Finding it was a bit of a task, for reference it’s on the ground floor of building 3 by the gym and outdoor pool. $1 for wash and same for dry, but you need 25c… and reception may/may not have change. Location is good, easy to get about and recommend the Madison Brewery along the road for food and a choice of beers. Room was clean and large with coffee machine, fridge & microwave. Room only serviced if requested, fine as we were only staying 2 nights."

"This place is just what I expected, Quaint, clean, beautiful scenery, comfortable bed and the food at the restaurant was great. I stayed one night with my daughter as we were traveling for work. Would have enjoyed the outdoor entertainment if not for having to work in the morning. Would definitely stay here again… seems like a great place for a date night getaway with the restaurant/ bar right on site. Also we were on the second floor and couldn’t hear much going on down stairs so sleeping was great. There wasn’t any air conditioning but there was a fan in the closet."
