"Chose this hotel because I was looking for a quieter location away from the city centre. The easy access to Metro and trams made it very accessible for getting around. The hotel is very modern and nicely designed, the rooms were very comfortable, and the amenities were good. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Amsterdam."

"Clean, comfortable, good breakfast and great location. Unfortunately all let down by the bathroom. Since we last stayed the bathroom door has been replaced with opaque glass and the light is automatic. This means it goes off when you don’t want it to, but if you get up in the night you wake your partner by shining a light on them, and it chooses that moment not to turn off for 15 minutes. By which time you are wide awake and furious. In another move to glass you now only get glasses in your room in order to make tea in. They are of course dangerously hot. We asked for mugs and were told someone would bring them but nobody did. We also ran out of toilet paper but I saw other people getting it from reception so I think it must be rationed. Our city view room had a view of a narrow alley way and the other half of the hotel. Not really what we imagined when we booked it. "
