"There was a nice feel to this hotel. It felt homely with it's creaky wooden stairs and beautiful bannister; when we came in late at night and let ourselves in through the big door with a key and crept up the stairs to our room so we didn't disturb any others, it felt like coming home!
The staff were kind and smiley. Everything was simple but very clean and the breakfast was amazing with lots of choice: fresh fruit, yoghurt, meats, smoked salmon, cheeses and breads. A small selection of hot food...

"We were first offered an upstairs apartment but I explained my condition and was immediately offered a beautiful ground floor flat with all amenities
We didnât use them except the kettle and the shower was great
The sitting area and bedroom was a lot better than expected
All in all fully recommended for short or long stay.
The town with its tree lined foot ways was a peaceful dream
Parking was private and secure..

"Didnât realise that the hotel didnât have a night porter , so couldnât check in.
Ideally located for business trip to local pharmacy company, but hopeless if you canât gain access.
I would have thought it may have been courteous if the hotel would have prompted me as weâve become so reliant on assumptions that text has been read, that o ended up sleeping outside in the car overnight when the temperature was minus 3."

"Brilliant hotel. It's the second time I have stayed there. Always a pleasure! The breakfast was amazing! Great mini bar. I did not have time to try the pool in the end, as I went to Vita Sol. Next time! The first receptionist was lovely, very welcoming. The second one was not so good, but all in all 10 out of 10. The hotel could do with a slight revamp as it's showing its age, worn carpets etc. But still a great hotel

"We chose to stay at this hotel while visiting family. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is probably the cleanest I have ever seen among similar 4 Star hotels. The food was exceptional and there was plenty of it. On-site parking was a bonus. Would definitely recommend and we look forward to our next stay."
