Vacation getaway

Had a wonderful vacation for the wife and I to unwind and relax. The cabin was just perfect and we truly enjoyed every moment. The Cabin was well stocked with everything we needed. We saw deer every evening in the forest surrounding our little cottage in the woods.

We frequent this area a few times a year but this was our first staying closer to Platte Lake. The property was well maintained and secluded. The house was very well kept. We had a minor hurdle during check in but John was incredibly responsive and it was resolved quickly and respectfully. We will definitely add this to our list for future visits.

Perfect location. Short drive to everything that we were looking to do, kayak, beach, shop, wineries, restaurants, trails.The cottage is exceptionally well stocked. Clean and comfortable. The property manager was very responsive for all our needs. He even messaged us to warn of a storm coming in.Most important to me is that our dog was welcome. There is even a poop bag dispenser.

Hidden Gem

We couldn't be more happy with our stay! We got all of the best accomodations we wanted and needed! Close to water and towns but hidden and quiet for us and our dogs! They had it so set up for pet friendly it was amazing! So clean and updated and the comfort made everything so much easier to not have any stress. We would recommend this get away to everyone and will for sure be back again!

Nice location and enjoyable cottage.

Very clean inside, and nice kitchen, but nothing was set up outside for guests. Had to clean all the outdoor furniture to use it, some of which was broken. Inside, the freezer did not open more than a few inches (not usable), and the tv was not set up in the bedroom. Otherwise, cannot beat the location!

We truly enjoyed our stay as the place was well stocked with all of the amenities necessary for a comfortable visit. The special attention paid to the little things were much appreciated. We did run out of propane while cooking our streaks and had to finish them on the stove which was disappointing.

Peaceful, pretty, and secluded

Lovely property - tons of fall color and very quiet and secluded. We loved that we could get away from the world after a day of sightseeing. It was a nice area to walk our dog. Very nice cottage with tons of helpful furnishings and supplies. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking gadgets, and there were tons of towels and bed linens. The bathroom was roomy and the king-sized bed was welcome! The wifi was reliable and very fast. Highly recommended!
