The bedsheet got stains. The room's conditions not well maintained, walls broken, overall not clean. Also, there is no fridge, in such hot temperature, how can you not provide a fridge there.

Cheap and central but with utterly no flexibility at all! Despite the hotel being virtually unoccupied no upgrades were offered or anything extra at all, very disappointing

Thank you for your comment. I am sorry to disappoint you, but we can’t free upgrade a standard room to the most expensive room without a reasonable charge. Hope you will stay with us next time, and we will try to offer you a late check-out or early check-in if room available.

Moldy room in terrible shape.
The hotel room was in terrible shape. There was black mold all around the A/C unit, on the ceiling and the walls. The wall paper was stained and pulling up from the walls. When I did a check under the bed before packing, i found old tissues from a previous guest wadded up under there. I do not recommend this hotel.

If you are picky, don't stay here
No heat. Very run down. Clean sheets. Towels are surprisingly in great condition. Hot water is great. Very small room. Challenging to communicate with staff.

great location on Wellington, close to Central and Soho, not far off the escalator. It would have been great if staff had a list of nearby places for breakfast, the only thing lacking. For a no frills hotel it was clean and quiet despite the nearby construction. End room was a good size, large for a no frills hotel. I would stay here again if priced competitively as it was this time.

Good location.
This is my 3rd time in HK, and this hotel was cheap and provided a good location, not far from central and all the bars in the area. The rooms are an average size for HK (you can actually move round the bed). The room could do with a bit of TLC and to be fair the ceiling and air-con units did look pretty grubby. The Bed was pretty comfy and the usual array of toiletries where provided. This isn't the Ritz, but for the money we paid for 3 nights it provided a place to sleep that wasn't ludicrously expensive.

OK for Solo traveller. Not for couple or family!
Great location. Tiny room but very clean room and clean lobby area. Not for a romantic stay, since the bathroom has a glazed glass to separate sleeping area and toilet. Towels were torn and worn out. Good for solo traveller, not couples.

Convenient location!
The hotel is in a very good location. Close to Central etc but far enough from the hussle and bustle so you don't hear noise at night. The room was in a fairly good condition and clean. Would recommend for a short stay.

Small gem in Central
The room was typical small HK size but enough space for 2 with suitcases. It was clean had a tiny shower with good hot water pressure. The bed was comfy and the room had all we needed for an overnight stay. We thought it good value for the price and would stay again. Its in a great area.

Decent hotel in Central
Positive experience. Definitely not as bad as some of the things written by others. The on demand hot water heater switch was clearly indicated before I walked into the bathroom. I did not hear noises from other rooms, etc. For the money, it far exceeded my expectations.

Worth it
At the heart of the nightlife and very reasonable price. I booked this hotel because is just a few blocks away from Lan Kwai Fong and Hollywood road where everything happens on fri-sat nights. Hong Kong is for enjoying, so if you're traveling solo and not planning to stay in the room this is the perfect hotel for you. you can walk to Wan Chai Metro Station and get to Kowloon. okay the room is small but not very small. Comfortable, clean and cheap. Totally recommend.

Claustrophobic and tawdry
In its favour, the hotel is located on Wellington Street, in the heart of the busy bar and restaurant districts of Soho and near Central in Hong Kong. However, accommodation was poky and tawdry with a mattress as hard as a rock. Doors bang closed all night long with people coming and going, and although the daily rate was good, it was not THAT good. In future I would pay a little extra and stay somewhere better.

The first night was a disaster!
A few things that were irritating, the chest drawers were not functional. Also we could have done without the toilet in the shower. We did not have hot water the first night. The staff assumed it was user error and attempted to resolve the water heater issue. Nonetheless it was not resolved. After a 14 hr. flight we needed to shower and ended up taking cold showers. That night we were advised that we would change rooms the next day. It’s too bad they couldn’t accommodate us better. The other room was much better. The only issue here was the door lock would not work properly. We had to finagle that lock every time we left the room in order for it to work. There was a divider separating the toilet and the shower and this made my fiancé very happy. There was a lot of construction going on at the hotel and the building across, so sleeping in was not an option. Some perks I guess are, this hotel is one of the least expensive hotels and is somewhat centrally located. The rest of our stay was decent.
