"This an older property that is well maintained and very clean. I stripped the bed to check for bedbugs and found new mattresses in excellent condition. If you’re looking for an affordable relaxing stay, this is your spot!! Pool is great People are great. Restaurant is great, servers are super friendly and food is excellent. Facility itself is 3 stars because of its age but like I said, very well maintained. 5 star service and cleanliness. I highly recommend you walk across the bridge and take the tram to the wildlife preserve!! "

"We had a great stay at the Manatee Lodge! The location is perfect for seeing the manatees during the winter months and the manatee themed decor made the stay even more special. We enjoyed fishing from the dock and taking out the kayaks into the springs. We had a manatee swim past the dock one afternoon while we were fishing. In the mornings, we heard and saw lots of ducks and other wildlife from the screened in back porch overlooking the canal. It was a very peaceful and relaxing stay. My son especially enjoyed the bunk beds and the game room downstairs. During our stay, we visited monkey island, swam with manatees at Paddletail Waterfront Adventures, and visited the Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park."

"What a delightful vacation we had! The house was clean and a wonderful spot to relax. We spent hours outside either fishing or swimming. The screened in porch was delightful for a rainy afternoon. The hosts were very responsive to questions. Definitely would return to this lovely spot! "
