Breath taking view of the Kachemak Bay. Breakfast was excellent ! The hosts were very inviting and had helpful information related to the area. I definitely recommend the Juneberry Lodge!
The views of Kachemak Bay were stunning. The house was in a quiet and very safe location. Marsha and Manfried were gracious hosts and served wonderful breakfasts. This was such a memorable stay and a great way to escape from the city for a long weekend. I was able to tour around the Homer spit, take a float plane to Katmai NP, and drive to the end of East End Road.
Highly recommend staying at Juneberry Lodge. Accommodation is excellent. The views are absolutely amazing, and the hosts could not have been better. First class. 5 stars.
We loved the Juneberry Lodge.
So welcoming and peaceful.
Marsha is a gracious host. She was a wealth of knowledge about the area, helped us plan our days and gave excellent recommendations for dining.
Breakfasts were delicious.
Everything was perfect...location, amenities, breakfast, room & bed comfort, beautiful setting and hostess that presented history and ideas of what to do in the area. Would definitely return to this lovely B&B.
The property shines and the host provides outstanding hospitality for guests. It doesn't get much better! The views from the breakfast room are incredible and the food is great.
What a delightful place! If I could give it 100 out of 100 stars, I would. If you are in Homer, you need to stay at the Juneberry Lodge. The hosts are amazing, breakfasts are delicious, and scenery spectacular. I will be back!
Marsha seemed to know every place to go close by. She was excellent at reading your thoughts and telling you where to go. Mannfred was an excellent cook. We were there 3 nights and had 3 different breakfasts. The place was very clean and the other couples were all easy to get along with. We even tasted some of their private smoked sockeye salmon. Delicious
Marcia Mannfried and Django were awesome hosts! They helped us plan our day out and told us where to go! The breakfast both mornings were un believable! To say the least. If weβre ever back in Homer we are definitely going to stay here!
We stayed at Juneberry for two nights, wish we could stay more...
The room was extremely comfortable and clean and has everything we needed, the breakfast on the deck facing the magnificent view was both pleasant and delicious.
And above all - Marcia is a great hostess, she gave us a lot of useful tips and recommendations and was fun to meet and talk to, thank you Marcia for making our stay at Homer so enjoyable!
Great place to stay. Very scenic view from the deck of Kachemak Bay, glaciers, and mountains. Breakfast is another plus here. Mannfried is the cook and his homemade sourdough and blueberry pancakes and peach crepes are the best. Youβll get lots of history and interesting facts about the locals and the area from Marcia. Room rates are reasonable and beds are comfortable. Two thumbs up!!
