Spectacular!

Wonderful location overlooking Kachemak Bay with glacier/mountains beyond. The property is beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. Donna was the consummate host, extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. HIGHLY recommended!

Beautiful home with amazing views

Donna was an amazing host and was great at communicating with us. The home was exactly as described with beautiful views of the bay and great amenities. Donna gave us local recommendations which was very much appreciated.

Perfect for us

A Slice of Heaven

An exceptional place to spend time in Homer! The views were spectacular with access to the beach when the tide was out. A quiet and serene place to take in the beauty of Kachemak Bay! Our host, Donna Warren was delightful!

Beautiful cottage on Katchemak Bay

Wonderful location right on the shore of Katchemak Bay. Close enough to town and the spit to be convenient, but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. Clean, well stocked and tastefully furnished. Panoramic view of the bay from large windows—loved watching the change in tides. Stayed two nights—wish we could have stayed longer.

Wedding in Homer

The location was perfect! Everything about our stay was awesome. Our daughter stayed with us the last night and Donna was very welcoming regarding her situation (her friends left a day early). We never grew tied of the gorgeous view.

This property is a gem! We only stayed 2 nights but easily could have spent more. Things we loved- the kitchen is very well stocked (and good size) -the front deck views are amazing- bed is super comfortable. Highly recommend staying here!! O

Wonderful Place To Stay In Homer

I had stayed at Donna's cabin before and I was able to return there this year. The cabin is immaculate and a wonderful place to stay. The location is great. From the porch, the view of the glacier across the bay is breath taking. One can spend the entire day just sitting on the deck and viewing the glacier as one reads a book. I will look to stay with Donna again when I return to Homer. I suggest that you book early because the cabin gets booked quickly.

Cozy waterfront!

The cabin had a beautiful view and so cozy! We loved being able to walk down to the beach and walk up and down near the water! The bed was very comfortable and the whole place was very clean!! It was nice to meet the owner! She was very nice! We wish we could of stayed longer we loved Homer!! We will be back again!!

Wedding weekend

We were very happy with our two night stay during a recent family wedding weekend. The place was well stocked, clean, comfortable, quite, the bed was high, large and cozy, and the deck over the water just outside was heaven, especially in the mornings. We enjoyed a few walks along the beach during low tide, and a quite, barbeque evening with a movie. I didn't want to leave, but it's always hard for me to leave Homer. :) Thank you very much for the memory Donna!

Florida couple in Homer

Only issue was GPS to property was off by .3 miles but the address out front was visible. Great views to the bay! Fun watching the dramatic tide changes. Eagles soaring right out our door and catching fish! Ever changing view of the glacier, mountain peaks and bay. Host / Donna was very responsive! We visited Seldovia and Homer Spit in our 2 days.

Like Waking Up in a Beautiful Dream

This location was absolutely breathtaking! You’re in a cabin, going to bed on the beach and when you wake up, the beach looks completely different and everything around. You just seems like a stunning painting. Our host Donna was awesome. Check-in was very easy. The cabin was clean and stocked full of essentials. Location was amazing right on the beach & so close to downtown, Homer spit, & the business district. Could bot ask for a better Homer experience! Loved it!

Perfect Elopement Home-Away-From-Home

My now-hubby and I chose to elope to Homer and get married on a glacier. Little did we know our view from this beautiful little cabin would be of the glacier we were to be married on. From the moment we drove up, we knew we had chosen the perfect place. The views (no matter the weather) are spectacular. If you enjoy bird-watching or beach-combing like we do, you will not be disappointed!! We especially loved seeing the Bald Eagles every day. We saw rainbows across the bay, sea lions on the rocks, star fish and octopus at low tide and collected some beautiful shells we don’t see on our East Coast beaches. We also had the unexpected chance to meet Donna and she is awesome!! Wish we lived closer and could call her a friend. We will definitely be back the next time we are able to visit Homer!! Also, if you get the chance, stop by the Salty Dawg Saloon on the spit….it’s a cozy little gem with a super friendly staff!!
