"First impressions were slightly underwhelming, but ignore those, the hotel is excellent and the staff are great. The food was wonderful and the pool was lovely. To swim and watch kites and eagles overhead is a rare pleasure and now a glorious memory. Criticisms - the room tended to get quite hot and there is public transport but it’s a bit of a walk away, but those a minor criticisms. On the main question - would I go back? Yes. Gladly. Gratefully."

"De kamer was groot genoeg, schoon. Kleine badkamer, maar wel vrij nieuw en schoon. "Die Ferienwohnung ist klein, aber gut und gemütlich eingerichtet. Besonders gefallen haben uns die tolle Aussicht vom Balkon Richtung Berge sowie die sehr zentrale Lage in der Nähe des Bahnhofs. Direkt dort gibt es auch einen hervorragenden Bäcker, bei dem wir dank der leckeren Auswahl einiges an Geld gelassen haben – besonders praktisch, da er sogar an Feiertagen und sonntags geöffnet hatte. Für zwei Personen war die Wohnung völlig ausreichend, auch mit Hund hat es gut funktioniert. Die Küche ist allerdings eher eine kleine Küchenbox und dadurch ziemlich beengt. Auch das Sofa im Wohnzimmer war leider schon ziemlich durchgelegen – man hat beim Sitzen sogar die Federn gespürt. Deshalb würden wir die Wohnung eher nur für maximal zwei Personen empfehlen. Etwas unpraktisch fanden wir außerdem den sehr hohen Einstieg in die Dusche, was für ältere Menschen oder Personen mit Einschränkungen schwierig sein könnte. Insgesamt hatten wir trotzdem einen schönen Aufenthalt."
