"This is a very upmarket hotel set in beautiful grounds and the whole establishment has been given much attention to detail. The result is the perfect venue for a holiday or a business meeting. "We were welcomed by friendly staff in a beautiful medieval house. The restaurant and breakfast room are located in this ‘castle.’ The rooms are located across the street in a new-fangled room complex. The rooms are modern and functionally furnished. Unfortunately, there was a lack of maintenance of the rooms; the shower floor and chairs are damaged. All this should not spoil the fun, but that is not what you expect from a (Fletcher) hotel. "From the start to the end, our stay was amazing! Excellent service from the receptionist, room was huge (junior suite), bed was huge and super comfy, bathroom was a good size with a good shower, nice towels and shampoo etc. the toilet was in another room but turned out better due to privacy. Food to have a heated towel rail to dry our togs after our swim. The indoor swimming pool was so large, good temperature, very clean and in a luxurious room! Nice seats after the swim, dressing gowns a bonus, very warm room to sit in - excellent. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had. So much food, all delicious and a great variety. The hot food was just warm both mornings - the only negative. Good, free car park. Would definitely stay again."
