The free riding should usually take place three times a week. However, we can not guarantee the riding dates. Z. For example, riding is weather dependent as it takes place outside. In addition, there may be other - also seasonal - reasons that the riding must fail. 

Our farm "Zur alten Linde" (hobby agriculture) is idyllic and very quiet in the village Holtgast, very close to a forest, in a small traffic-calmed side street. We offer you country holidays and pure relaxation. Three kilometers away is the old cozy town of Esen. North of Esens and very suitable for a spa stay, the North Sea spa Bensersiel joins. Bensersiel can also be reached by bike across the country. A very nice tour through the moorland awaits you. To experience your holiday on the North Sea active and relaxed and optimally benefit from the stimulating climate of the North Sea. By car you can reach the beach, spa facilities or the bathing area "Nordseetherme Sonneninsel" and much more in just a few minutes. Our farm is run by us as a hobby. Therefore, there are also especially animals that are there to pet and play or you can just look at rest or on which the children are allowed to ride. Your children are very important to us. So there is a comprehensive infant equipment in the apartment: baby bath, babysitter / child care possible, bottle warmer, highchair, children's plate, playpen, toys, potty, toilet attachment, drinking cup, hot water bottle and changing table.  There are also many other games on the farm, also a very large garden with playground, lawn and barbecue area. The charming surroundings on the border of march and Geest landscape is particularly suitable for long walks, bike rides and discovery trips in the unique nature of East Frisia. We ourselves are enthusiastic inline skaters and would like to accompany you on one of our excursions in the beautiful East Frisian landscape. Esens and Bensersiel have plenty to offer for sports, recreation and play, including beaches with playgrounds and beach chairs, swimming pools, tennis courts, dike surfing sections, fitness activities, beach volleyball, fishing opportunities and much more. Let the sun shine on your stomach or explore the beautiful surroundings and the expanse of East Frisia by bike. In Bensersiel you can visit the beach, the North Sea spa "Sonneninsel", the new beach portal with the covered beach playground "Bennis Abenteuerland" or the seawater wave pool. A lot is also provided for your health: health-promoting courses, fitness and gymnastics courses in the Vital-Aktiv-Center; or have a beauty day and let yourself be pampered. Take day trips to the East Frisian Islands and visit numerous old mills, museums, exhibitions and other cultural highlights. Cheap shopping, many events and great local gastronomy will round off your program. There is a lot of holiday and relaxation here.
