Anna Maria Island’s noise ordinance aims to ensure citizens can enjoy a peaceful environment. The ordinance applies to all areas of the city, including public and private property, and places of business. It defines noise as any sound that annoys or disturbs a reasonable person of ordinary sensibilities or causes or tends to cause an adverse physical or psychological effect on such reasonable person. The noise ordinance limits the maximum permissible noise levels to: 7 AM–10 PM: 65 decibels: (Consistently shouting in the pool exceeds 65 decibels) 10 PM–7 AM: 50 decibels: (An audible conversation from 50’ or 15 meters away exceeds 50 decibels) The ordinance also prohibits plainly audible noise, which refers to any sound that can be clearly heard by a person using their normal hearing faculties. This means that a person can still be in violation if the noise can be easily heard by responding officers from a distance of 100 feet from the property line. Fines for excessive noise can range from $100 to $1,000.

Steps away from beautiful beach. Very clean. Outdoor living and landscaping, beautiful. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds were very comfy. We would definitely stay here again.

Construction Zone
Do not stay here unless you can confirm that construction on the house next door has been completed. Neither the owner or management company disclosed that a house was being built next door. We were unable to use the backyard or pool between 830 and 500 each weekday due to noise and debris coming into the yard. Spent three days dealing with the owner and management company to get out of our contract and moved to another property. Owner not cooperative. Once construction is complete, the house is very nice and in a great location with proximity to the beach. Construction should have been disclosed or a discount offered at initial booking.
We loved this place. Exceptionally clean, convenient with the beach just across the street, close to all the boat launches. The ONLY ONE thing that was upsetting;
we were told the fence around the back yard was secure. We brought our dog, and there were 2 spaces in the corners of the fence by the pool that were covered by the trees and landscaping that were actually open! Our dog found the hole and squeezed through the fence! He is a rescue so of course he RAN! We looked for over 30 minutes and finally a jogger ran by and told us he saw the dog down the street. He was running in/out of the heavy traffic in the road! We got him and brought him back, safely! After that we had to keep him on a lease in the back yard for fear of him escaping again. The holes in the fence need to be fixed or please tell guests that the fence is NOT secure. Other than THAT, the place and service was stellar and we would stay again!
