Getting ready to be WOWED by the Kitchen/Dining/Living room remodel currently in place. 2 NEW dishwashers, new wine refrig and new cabinetry with hardwood floors refinished and a new tiled bathroom!!

This is well-equipped for a work-from-home space, high-speed internet with desk and office chair.

Beautifully remodeled, spacious home, with modern furnishing and well-kept property.

The kitchen is fully-equipped for cooking, new refrigerator, microwave, stove, coffee pot, blender, toaster, large space for cooking with an additional butler's pantry.
This 4 bedroom unit has its own private access, a space of its own in a very large house. (upper level)

2 master bedrooms with full bathroom, towels and blow dryer included.

This has a stunning view of the river and is located just over a mile from beautiful Douglas and 2 miles from Saugatuck. if you're adventurous, you are just under a 1/2 mile from Mount Baldhead Park where you can challenge yourself to 282 steps to enjoy the gorgeous view of Lake Michigan. If you continue your journey you can relish the amazing Oval Beach (just a mile from the property) top 10 beaches in the U.S. Live it up in downtown Saugatuck with all the great shopping and so many fabulous restaurants to choose from. We are a short walking distance to the Chain Ferry (3-minute walk), and many hiking trails just off of Park St.

Beautiful view and perfect location

Perfect location for us to stay between my daughter in Holland and daughter in Grand Rapids and attending a wedding in Allegan. The view was grand and minutes to the beach and downtown Saugatuck. Very spacious. We will definitely stay again.

Great location and view!

It was really nice waking up to a picturesque view of the Kalamazoo River just steps from the Mt Baldy Steps and the Saugatuck Chain Ferry so we could visit the historic district and all the cute shops and restaurants without having to drive. Spacious house with great amenities!

Good location, very clean and roomy. Very comfortable beds. The home is well equipped. The bathrooms are a bit outdated and could use privacy doors within the bathrooms. Denise was responsive and gave good recommendations. Overall a great location and a very good place to stay.

Lovely home

The house was in a great location with a beautiful view of the river. The kitchen was well stocked but the wine fridge and Kuerig didn’t work. The furniture was comfortable. The only complaint would be that there weren’t full sets of good towels. Other than that it was a good place for our family vacation!

Relaxing stay in Saugatuck

The 4bedrooms are so spacious and the living areas (living room, dining, kitchen) are so inviting to hang out with family and friends together. While I've stayed at many rentals, I was impressed by the small touches available here - enough paper towels, detergent, TVs in the rooms, smart thermostat, fully stocked cooking supplies in the kitchen, etc. We could easily have just brought ourselves and clothes and been set! Also, we spent a lot of time on the deck, which had a view of the river. Those made for some relaxing mornings and sunset evenings. The owner was also very easy to reach and communicate with. Five stars all around!

Weekend Wedding

Had a great stay at this spacious and well equipped Saugatuck home. Located two minutes from the chain ferry to go into Saugatuck with a great patio view of the Kzoo River and the endless boat traffic. We grilled one night and was pleasantly surprised that the grill was clean and had a plenty of gas in the tank (both a rarity at VRBO). The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed (plates, silverware, pans, spices, etc…) Temps hit 90 degrees and the A/C worked great. Communication with Denise was outstanding. This property is a no brainer to book with either a larger family or group of friends.

Great Place on the Active Side of Kalamazoo River

A great place for our Family of 5! A short drive away from Oval Beach, and walking distance to Mt Baldhead and the chain ferry made this an ideal location. Inside, we found a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of room to lounge in the comfy living room as well as a large dining area. The balcony is the signature spot to enjoy a cup of coffee or a meal and take in the great views of Lake Kalamazoo. The deco is modern and fun. There were plenty of towels as well as bathroom products. The 4 beds were comfy with nice linens and pillows. Outside is a Weber grill in working order and a large fire pit-- a nice touch with included firewood. The only wrinkle was a goofy parking set up in front, which was easier to pull into and a challenge to pull out due to a blind curve on Park.

Misleading Description of property

The house is listed as beautifully remodeled, well-kept property and very clean. This is an absolutely misleading description - the only remodeled area is perhaps the spacious living room. Bathrooms were old with old style shower faucets (I can provide pictures). The house was not clean; sticky spots were all over the countertop, dishwasher and dining room table (pictures are available). In addition, there was a water leak from the ceiling of the living room that ended up filling a whole bucket over the night. The owner was responsive and offered to reimburse us for the $250 cleaning cost, but what about the inconvenience? Overall the house was functional, but the price was too high for what it has to offer. We used VRBO in the past and the house descriptions were usually accurate and reliable. This one was misleading. We are very disappointed! Not sure we will use VRBO in the future! We expect some compensation for the disillusion and the inconvenience we experienced.
