Girls Weekend
A beautifully presented cottage which was perfect for our 2 night getaway - a group of 5 girlfriends. Easy walk to the market and CBD as well as plenty of shops and restaurants within 10 minute walk. A lovely sunny deck in the afternoon was very enjoyable. Thanks for having us.

FANTASTIC LOCATION
We recently utilised this awesome accommodation as our base in Hobart for 3 nights. It was fantastically located and had everything we needed. We walked to Salamanca markets and even our 6 year old enjoyed the walk and exploring all the amazing places to see around the wharf area. The accommodation is so close to plenty of takeaway food options for evening meals, or a really short stroll to woolworths, with the kitchen having everything you needed to cook your own. We loved both the ‘old’ and ‘new’ sections of the house and had more than enough space for our entire family. We would definitely recommend this property and will be sure to stay here again for future trips to Hobart.

Lovely cottage!
Very nice fully renovated cottage. Lots of cafes, shops, Woolies all in walking distance. Cottage has everything you might need. Super friendly host, but we didn't need to contact her as there were no issues. Would definitely stay again. Thank you.

Perfect home, great location.
We loved everything about this lovingly renovated old Sandy Bay home. Comfortable, with all the mod cons. Wifi & Netflix if you need them. Easy walk to the local shops and of course Baci & Baci for breakfast. Hobart has so much to offer, that we didn’t need to cook. But if you do, the kitchen is beautifully appointed. We rate this property highly. And we’d love to come back. Thank you Jo.

Great position, lovely house!
Close to Hobart and all the wonderful shops and places to eat, this charming cottage was perfect for a girls weekend away. Super clean, snuggly beds, a perfect mix of cottage charm and modern amenities. Jo, the host, was really friendly and helpful too. You can’t go wrong!

Great host and handy location
This property was great in lots of ways, but there were also a few negative. The checkin process was fantastic (love the electronic door lock) and the welcome surprise was very much appreciated. Thanks again. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable, but less so in the other bedrooms. You could hear the squeaking of the beds throughout the house, and both my boys said that they weren't very comfortable - however, I accept that is a personal preference. The kitchen was very well equiped, however, there were no saucepans, the oven could do with a clean - which surprised me as everything else was spotless. We were warned that only a small car could fit in the parking - which is correct. We were however able to find all day parking a few streets away. Otherwise the location is fantastic. The Sandy Bay restaurants are literally around the corner, and it is only a 10-15 minute walk to the Salamanca market, Sullivans Cove, etc. The laundry facilities were great, and there is an outside clothesline, however, it would be handy to have an inside clothes airer, as we had quite rainy/drizzly weather whilst we were there, and were not able to dry any clothes outdoors. The host is a fantastic communicator - very responsive. Thanks.

Hi Marta, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. In regards to the beds being comfortable it is definitely personal preference as all our mattresses are the same! We proudly use Tasmanian made AH Beard mattresses. We have pots and a frypan in the kitchen drawers. Perhaps you missed them. My apologies if they oven was not clean, I will amend that immediately. We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our property. As noted in the property details large 7seater 4WDs and vans may struggle to fit comfortably in the parking space. Medium cars and SUVs are no problem. We do provide a clothes airer and ironing board, they are located under the double bed. This is noted in our welcome notes left for guests inside the house. My apologies you missed this information. Best wishes Jo

Hobart stay in Sandy bay
Very handy location, walk to cafes and restaurants. The cottage bedrooms were very cosy for our family of 5. The kitchen, lounge and dining area was very nice. Would be good if the wifi signal was also in the bedrooms as we could only get it in the rear of the house even though the cottage is small.

Great place to stay in Hobart
We just had an overnight stay so did not get to luxuriate in this lovely home. Everything we needed was here. On site carpark was great but very tight (we had a small car and only just squeezed in).

Superb! Everything we needed.
A wonderful cottage - clean, bright and also with lots of character and warmth. Great to stay in such an excellent location - definitely would come back to stay here on our next trip to Hobart!
