You'll have the entire apartment to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

PAPA JOE APARTMENT

This Apartment is the lower floor of the house where I live.
It has been recently created and is practical and of modern design.
It has its own bathroom, kitchen( outdoor cooking facilities) and Covered Patio, outdoor setting, ideal for a hot or cold drink outside, in a very serene and relaxing environment
It is in a very quiet area, being 50 m away from the road,
. The queen size Bed is very accommodating for a good night sleep, and should you have a 3rd guest, a single mattress is available ($15 extra per night )
A lovely park (Poimena) dominating panoramic views on top of the street. The famous Mona Museum and resort only few minutes away. and Cadbury within walking distance. Other parks and walking tracks make you feel like going for a walk every morning ( I do.)
Claremont village is 3 min away ( 15 min walk).
The apartment is very accommodating, generous and practical.
There are always some basic food to keep you going.
Tee, coffee, bread milk, butter, jam, cereals....

The reason I listed my Apartment and decided to rent it out is mainly to make friends and interact with people from all over the world ( if they like to).

So give me a try, and you will not regret it.

Great stay at Papa Joe’s

Joe is a great communicator! He will be there to greet you upon arrival and will be there to say goodbye at check-out. He’s also very helpful with suggestions on what to see and do. He and his partner Renate are some of the most loving people we’ve ever met. He’s got a nice quiet location for traveling in any direction. You will love your stay at Joe’s!

Very enjoyable stay

Joe (and his partner Renate) is a six star host who welcomed us with a glass of wine. He also invited us for dinner. His casserole was just great! The apartment is very comfortable and you can cook outside (which we did). Good bed, bathroom with a good shower. Ideal location for exploring Hobart (<20 min by car) and surroundings. Highly recommended!!

Papa Joe is an extremely warm and welcoming host and goes out of his way to make sure his guests have a good experience and are well looked after. The place was great for a couple as a base for day trips. Safe, quiet, comfortable with all the basic equipment one needs, even lovely leaf tea was provided. Easy access to main roads to Hobart and National parks, supermarket two minutes drive. Definitely will stay with Papa Joe on our next trip to Tasmania if we are in the same area!

From the warmest of welcomes, Papa Joe made us feel like a part of the family. Joe went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing The property is easy to find, parking on site, THE most amazing views and of an evening the area is so quiet Guests have private access as well as a lovely covered outdoor area to sit relax and admire the stunning views Supermarket is within minutes, a short easy drive and has specialty stores within the complex for any needs & restaurants and pubs nearby Papa Joe IS hospitality, a true gentleman and wonderful host

Comfortable stay in quiet area for someone that do not want to stay in the city.

All neat and tidy. Unit is well supplied with all that you may need. In close range to shops if you do need to go shopping for food. Love the views, had gorgeous small birds visiting every morning before the neighborhood woke up. Made me feel welcome from the start and as single traveler that was appreciated. The only shortcoming-if I can call it that-is the uneven surface and steps around the unit. For any person with hip and or knee issues, this may not be the best option.

Great accommodation

Staying with Joe felt like staying with family in the nicest way. Communication was clear and friendly, everything was taken care of, and the room itself is exactly as listed. Joe was so lovely and warm, even invited me up for a drink and a chat. When he discovered I was a musician he was more than happy to lend me his guitar for the duration of the stay. This is the perfect home base to go out and explore the city from. Would 100% stay again.

Joe makes you feel so welcome and comfortable, Joe wants his guests to have all they need. Great location, accessible to many destinations!! Amazing views, outlook to Mt Wellington. Has a friendly hello and a big smile. We had all we needed, bed and linen very comfortable. Kitchen is very well appointed, Joe gives above and beyond, providing home made biscuits, bread, cold meat and cheese, variety of tea bags, bottle of wine. We would stay again. Joe’s guest book for feedback says it all, everyone wants to go back and stay in Joe’s downstairs apartment.

Wonderful host

Our flight was delayed and Joe willing to wait for us and offering to make dinner for us but we didn’t accept.However Joe gave us a bottle of wine ,my husband enjoyed very much and wanted to buy one bottle for my friend back in Adelaide but when we enquired Joe where we can buy it,Joe offered us another bottle! He and his partner,Renata have been so nice and friendly,they treat us like a friend Wish him very best
