Upon entering, you will immediately notice the panoramic windows, which brighten up the living area and bring nature in. After the day's adventures, you can put your feet up on the sofa by the windows and enjoy a coffee or read a book. Whether cooking, eating or relaxing, no matter what you do, you can experience nature up close here. Just a few steps from the house you will find cross-country ski trails as well as beautiful hiking trails.



Take a trip to Lake Langetjønn or go fishing or hiking. The hike up to the top of Gaustatoppen is one of the most popular in Norway, and the view from the top is phenomenal. You can also take the cable car inside the mountain to the top if your legs can't take the hike. If you want to hike to the summit, Stavsro is the most popular starting point. There are several different hiking trails that all lead to the summit. So both families with children and experienced mountain hikers can find a route they enjoy. A second highlight for mountain hikers is the cave, Hulderhola.
