"The view to the lake through autumn leaves was awesome. Bear Paw Community is friendly and very peaceful. My dog and I walked all over, she seldom had to come and be leashed up for traffic. Deer, chipmunks, squirrels. The interior looks as advertised, minus rugs and plus slipcovers which might be because we were traveling with a dog. Kitchen is reasonably stocked - seasonings, extras. No cooking oil and sorry, w/ the price of EVOO, I didn't leave it behind! Thirty plus minutes to the store."

"The cabin was absolutely beautiful and the view was amazing!!! We did have some issues with the lock, getting into the house and even trying to lock the door to leave. It would take at least 4 attempts at putting in the code for the lock to actually unlock. When we would push the button to lock it and spin the lock, it sometimes wouldn't spin to lock. There was also quite a mess under the couches, that I noticed while the seats were reclined. But other than those two issues, the place was amazing, peaceful and clean. I would definitely come back!!!!"

"The cabin had everything we could have hoped for — coffee, creamer, spices, plenty of paper towels and trash bags, soft towels, extra blankets for those cool mornings, and every cooking tool imaginable. It was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated for fall and Halloween, with charming signs that reflected the owners’ personality and warmth.Every detail made us feel so welcome. We’re already looking forward to making this cabin part of our family’s tradition for years to come."
