"the houses were looking lovely on the internet and the house itself was clean and well maintained but it is more a hotel of value of 200 /300 reales per night. no more. the bed was cheap and terrible. the sheets were as thin as they could possible be and we didn't feel comfortable when we entered the room and found blood spatters on the wall and curtains. this doesn't fill one with confidence "

"This is a nice little hostel and looks much better in person. My friend and I were only here for a night. The room was a bit small, but the bed was comfortable and shower had hot water. The hostel has a nice pool and bar and some seating/hammocks around, though we didn't get to use it because of our short stay. Paraty is quite walkable so the hotel is in a good location with restaurants nearby. Overall, I would stay here again and would recommend it to those staying in Paraty."

"The pousada was homey and comfortable. The colored bungalows made it feel a bit like a sleepaway camp and the home cooking made it feel like staying with a family. Great place if you're not looking for anything too upscale and are happy with mellow vibes. The grounds are beautifully kept and there's a nice, small pool. It's isolated on its' own more remote part of the island, but it's a short walk out to the dock to hop on a boat and explore the other wonders of Ilha Grande. "

I didn’t like the small unlit sign at the road, the dirty driveway is in poor conditions, no visibility on top of the hill plus big potholes, the property sits at a steep angle to the ocean requiring big steps stairs to access the room or the pool. "
