Historic District - North Hotels, Savannah

"This is a nice hotel and right in the heart of historic Savannah. The staff were very nice and helpful. The one downside was having to pay to park there. It is not included in the price Expedia gives you."

"Parking fee was high $48 a day. Restaurant closed before 9:00 and there was no food available in the bar. We had to go out of hotel for food. "

"The hotel was clean, the staff was great and the breakfast was good, but the rooms are another story, especially for how expensive they were. We had 3 rooms for our group & everyone said the same thing. These were the worst rooms we had during our entire trip & they cost twice as much as any of the other rooms we stayed in. They were clean, but there was no luggage racks/stands & no where else to put your luggage other than open the suitcases on the floor. If you're only staying 1 or 2 nights, it's more trouble than it's worth to unpack your suitcases in a hotel room. There was no where to sit & relax in the room, so you had to sit on the bed & lean against the head board. There were only 2 uncomfortable kitchen chairs at a table. The hotel was advertised as a newer hotel but built to look old. The lobby area looked newer, but the rooms were definitely not newer."

"The Hotel Indigo is my go-to when visiting my son, a junior at SCAD. The staff are very pet friendly and accommodating. The location is great for walking the historic area and it’s an easy walk across Bay Street to get to a green with loads of friendly squirrels to charm your dog. "

"This was a prime location, park your car in the public parking garage beside the hotel. They use the same facility much cheaper. You won’t need it from that point you can walk everywhere. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable and the amenities were in good condition. Absolutely no issues with this hotel and I would recommend it and use it again."
