"They do have rooms with better view, but I did not find them through Hotels doc com, even so, it was still gorgeous. Also the bed and the covers/pillows were outstanding. I slept like a rock. The room was a tad too bare in some respects, e.g. no holder for soap and shampoo in the shower, but plenty of outlets, lights and accompanying switches and a nice large screen tv. Breakfast was solid and kept me well going for the day"

"It's a nice hotel and very centrally located, but each floor is split level so requires 3 or 4 steps in places. The rooms have no closets or drawers. The refrigerator was tiny and not very cold."

"Generally good hotel. Old buildings but renovated not too long ago by my judgement. Only real complaint is that in our room the bathroom was a bit small, with the toilet just fitting between the shower and the wall and with a radiator just in front of it. Being over 6 feat and not thin, this meant I had to sit at a 45 degree angle on the toilet. It was ok and doable, but not really comfortable. Otherwise it was a good and comfortable hotel with friendly attentive staff. "

"We really enjoyed our stay! The hotel is quaint and full of character. The breakfast was delightful and beautifully presented. Stephen and Anette are hard working and gracious hosts and if we pass by again we would definitely choose to stay here!"
