We will definitely be back.
This is our second stay at Hideaway Toms and it wont be our last. Its such a quiet and relaxing place to come and getaway, only a 50mins drive from where we live and 15mins from Goolwa. The property is great, clean, tidy and comfortable but of course what you come for is the view. Its right on the water, with loads of birdlife to watch. The best part of the day is waking up and opening the blinds to look outside. We took our dog and he had a great time climbing down the rocks for a paddle. Its nice and shallow and very safe. I just wished we booked longer.

A lovely short break
Just what we needed. A peaceful position right on the water, a clean and welcoming house, and we could bring our dogs along. Can't ask for more. We will be back!

Complete relaxation
Hideaway Tom's in my favourite part of Hindmarsh Island - we kayaked - fished off the jetty and relaxed in the outdoor area with the fire pit. It was a cold weekend, but the ample heating kept us warm and cozy! Our Jack Russel loved exploring the enclosed yard. We will be back!

Beautifully located hideaway with breathtaking views
The location and views are spectacular, the serenity was breathtaking. Everything you need and more is supplied in a beautifully presented holiday home. We enjoyed the decor along with the history and information on the walls. The cleanliness of the property was outstanding. Thank you for making a girly weekend away with my sisters so memorable, we have already committed that we will be returning.

Fabulous waterfront location. Private and very comfortable
Perfect hideaway location. Stunning water views. Accomodation very clean and comfortable . Great access to the Coorong. Well equipped kitchen and cosy living area. Loved the National Parks posters on the walls and the Storm Boy themed decor. Highly recommend this magic spot.

A perfect place to explore the Coorong
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the ease with which we could launch our tinny and explore the Coorong. The house had everything we needed and was so relaxing. Highly recommend to disconnect and marvel at the magic that is this region.

Wonderful location for a break
We loved Hideway Tom's. The place was pristinely clean, and there were thoughtful additions to make everyone's stay much easier. Thank you for the towel sheets, it's a little thing but it's so wonderful to be able to dry yourself on a cool spring morning with a towel that's bigger than a tea towel. Plenty of crockery and cutlery in the cupboards and drawers and while we did eat out each evening at Goolwa and the Tavern on the island we could have stayed in and cooked in a comfortable kitchen if that had been our preference. While the fishing part was not successful the view was lovely and we all enjoyed it very much. We're very happy to recommend Hideaway Tom's. Our grandson loved it. Thanks to Monica for her prompt replies to queries etc it was much appreciated.

A truly lovely experience
The property was so well looked after. I’ve stayed in the area before. But the outdoor kitchen is the bomb. Highly recommend. Such a lovely property and feel privileged to be allowed to enjoy it.

How's the serenity!
This great shack feels more like a home and my two kids aged 11 and 13 and I loved staying there for the last 3 nights. The peacefulness was great, the view over the river was beautiful, the jetty/pontoon was great to fish off of for the kids, the short drive to Goolwa was easy and the shack itself was very clean and tidy. No negatives although the kids wished more fish where about during our stay yet not much the owners can do about that :) and they had a ball trying.

Tom's Hideaway was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need. The outdoor BBQ/Kitchen area was perfect for cooking with great views over the water to sit and relax and enjoy the serenity. We were able to moor our boat all week on our own private jetty, with a boat ramp just one minute away. We will certainly be staying again!!

Fabulous location
Situated right on the Mundoo Channel with easy access by water to Goolwa, the Murray Mouth and Coorong, it was ideal base for exploring. Adjacent boat ramp and private jetty were a real plus. Accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped. Thoughtful touches like condiments, treats and eclectic selection of reading material were appreciated. Captivated by the thousands of waterbirds... but the fish eluded us. Will definite recommend it to family and friends. Exceeded our expectations.

We had a fabulous stay at Tom’s Hideaway
Such a gem of a place, very clean, linen provided, pantry items available which was a lovely touch - know not to bring for next visit! Fabulous DVD collection, books and games. Great location very peaceful. We even got the kayaks out for a paddle to the Murray River Mouth! Monique was very helpful with quick communication.
