COVID-19 has brought about major changes to the way we travel. If you're flying to Himos, these tips will help you navigate this new travelling reality:

• Understand what, if any, restrictions or rules apply to both your destination and origin. It may not be possible to travel depending on local circumstances, so check before you book your flight.
• When you pass through airport checkpoints, keep your face mask on. You will be required to lower it briefly to confirm your identity. Travellers who refuse to wear a face mask may be fined and denied entry.
• Do not hand your boarding pass directly to a TSA employee. Rather, position the pass on the scanner and then hold it up for inspection.
• One liquid hand sanitizer container is now allowed in your carry-on luggage. It must not be larger than 12 oz (350 ml), and you'll have to remove it from your bag for X-ray screening.
• Empty everything from your pockets, such as your phone, keys and wallet, and put them in your carry-on instead of into bins. This will reduce handling during screening.
• Separate any food you have for X-ray screening. Food items often set off the alarm. Placing them in a clear plastic bag and into a bin reduces the need for a TSA officer to touch and inspect your belongings.

As countries begin to open their borders, most airlines are back in action with new strategies including social distancing and enhanced disinfection measures. Here's what some carriers are doing to help limit the spread of COVID-19:
