Pets friendly, spacious 5 bedroom home located about 15 minutes walk to the beach, the local store/takeaway, the Cosie Club where you can enjoy a drink and a meal (check their Facebook page) , the skate park, tennis court and the bowling club. 2 bathrooms, and 2 toilets (one is separate).The property is fully fenced with a lovely private courtyard at the front plus a secure rear section. Open plan kitchen/dining, a separate air conditioned lounge and a TV make for plenty of room to relax. Please bring your own towels. There is an Uber service operating at the beach. The garage is not available.

Great bach for catching up with friends

Beautiful, spacious and wonderfully located bach to spend the weekend with friends. Had everything we needed, with lots of room to spread out, but also hang out around the large dining table.Will absolutely stay again.

Classic Beach Bach

A comfortable bach with everything we needed for a family get-together, with the added bonus of being pet friendly. It was great to have enough room for all of us - 6 adults, 1 teen and a small dog. We enjoyed having ample comfy seats for lounging, large dining table for feasts and a lovely outdoor area. Would highly recommend.

Himatangi Beach Adventure

Our Whanau (2 adults and 2 children 6 and 8 years) stayed at The Rangimare for 7 nights and it was awesome! We had another Whanau of 3 come and stay for 2 nights and we still had plenty of room. The house was comfortable, spacious, simple and homely. As soon as we walked in we felt welcome. The house has everything you need for a holiday at the beach. Linen, tea towels, hand towels, bath mats, hand soap and kitchen basics were all provided which made life that bit easier! Would definitely recommend :)

Relaxing stay

We were 1 couple, and 3 adults whom slept, prepared meals, and freshened up after the days activities. There was plenty of room, and liked the 2 toilets, 2 showers, roomy kitchen and lounge. Clean and tidy. Note, the smoke alarm from in lounge was on top of the freezer upon arrival, and started beeping flat during one night, so I removed the battery. plus the bedside lamp in the bedroom closest the driveway did not function. All in all an enjoyable stay.

House

House would be a good summer house but a little on the cold side approaching winter and having the fire condemned, room enough for two dogs to move around in they enjoyed it. A couple of bulbs that needed changing and then someone had put cutlery back and not cleaned them apart from that all was fine

Great beach bach for families

We had a great time there, able to play boardgames on the large dining table and go to the beach. Five bedrooms including 2 extensions giving on the lounge that had glass doors, ok for keeping an eye on children I suppose, but adults may feel less comfortable. Plenty of options for toilets and showers with a bathroom with toilets +shower, a separate shower in the laundry and separate toilets. Lovely front garden with well sheltered patio and succulents everywhere, we were enjoying being there while the wind was making it freezing cold at the beach. Small lawn area at the back. It took us more than double the announced time to walk to the beach and playground but we have a toddler... The worst point was the cleanliness (or lack thereof) when we arrived, our feet quickly turned black and we had to rewash all dishes we used. The absence of blackout curtains was compensated by the presence of blinds, and our bedroom could get dark for proper naps (or sleep-ins, but that wasn't on our program...). We didn't cook much, so can't really comment on kitchen options. One of the neighbours did some diy and woke some of us at 8h45 on an Easter Sunday, but otherwise the place was quiet.

Just what we needed. Cooking facilities were good although couldn't get frying pan to work. Sink tap in bathroom opposite to hot and cold ?Definitely would stay again though.
