We had a great week the condo was clean and had everything we needed! It was just a short walk to the beach which is awesome! The pool was so close and very nice as well!
Very spacious and comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped, tons of counter space. We like to cook so a comfortable two person kitchen was important. The weather was unseasonably cold so we didn't get a chance to use the deck area but it was a nice area. The huge trees and 2nd floor view of the golf course made it feel like we were in a tree house. Easy 5 minute walk to the beach. Would definitely consider staying here again.
There were 3 of us staying - plenty of room - very spacious layout and bedrooms. Clean with all the amenities for cooking. The deck has a nice view, but there was a lot of debris from the squirrels in the trees - no control over that though! Pool Area was great. It's a 10 minute walk to the beach on a great stretch with lifeguards during peak season. Bike to Coligny in 10 minutes. We would stay here again and recommend it.
Very convenient Shipyard condo. Less than 5 minute walk to the beach. The condo had everything needed in a kitchen, plenty of beach and pool towels, a very nice deck, and a bin filled with everything needed for days at the beach!
Unfortunately we were unable to go on vacation this year due to multiple reasons. I must say that communication was great with the host giving them updates on our situation daily. They were great to work with
My husband and I didn't want to leave. The layout of the unit is perfect for two or for entertaining. We had family renting other units for the week and our unit was my favorite. I loved the brand new deck and can't wait to go back when it's warmer to enjoy my coffee there in the morning.
This condo is a cute and cozy 2 bed 2 bath, well equipped kitchen with new outdoor deck. The view was fun and sunny. It felt like living in a sweet tree fort as we looked into trees from this second floor villa. The rental agent (Jacquie) was amazing to work with- excellent communication from start to finish. We loved being able to hop on our rental bikes and be 2 minutes from the beach. The villa was clean and ready for us and after a month it felt like home and was hard to leave. There were extras such as beach toys, umbrella and folding chairs and beach towels that were provided which really helped out. Would return again if we can!
We had no water when we arrived. Construction going on. That needs to be in the details of the rental cause my whole unit was shaking becuase of them ripping and banging the tile up and ripping walls off etc. i would have not choosen that place

Close to beach but has a lot of problems, we wont be back to this location
First off I will say the first couple of days our stay was enjoyable, we did arrive the week before the 4th of July, during the week things were pretty good but towards the end of our stay things progressed to a stressful and unpleasant stay. The first thing I noticed was in the second bedroom there was water damage on the ceiling that was quite noticeable. But the biggest issue at beachwalk was the cockroach problem, now I'm from the north and usually when you see cockroaches it is a indication of people being very unclean and a influx of people in one area, which i know can be hard for the property management to control being that they cant control how clean some of the families are that come in to stay. But we had more than a few come inside the villa. And there was an a lot outside around the garbage areas and outside along the road and walkways. And it was just disturbing for the price we paid to see that many cockroaches running about. And maybe coming from the north I might be making too much of a deal of it but it was pretty disgusting for me and my wife. The third thing that was problematic for us at our stay at beachwalk was our parking the last 2 days before the 4th of July right before we left we had no parking close to our villa one night and the other night we had make our own parking in a non designated spot, many others did the same. We had to pay 160 dollars for parking and it is not Guaranteed which is a shame. When I alerted property management and security that there where cars parked late at night without parking permits they said the owners didn't have to display permits. I felt as our neighbors where taking fill advantage of the security parole not being there after 10 pm and bringing in friends and family thus taking away parking for those who paid like we did. And we only had one vehicle, I feel the management needs to designate parking spots for villa renters during their stay. And it only seems to be an issue late at night on the weekends, the only thing we liked about Beachwalk was the closeness the property to the beach. Along with the the cleanliness of the pool, the place was well cleaned when we arrived. If we come back to hilton head I would not return to Beachwalk villas. Because of the mentioned above problems.
We found this rental property for the most part, very user- friendly. Located in the lovely Shipyard, it was close to the beach- maybe a ten minute walk. There was plenty of space, and a lovely patio for outside relaxing. A very nice pool within the group of condos. Fully- equipped kitchen, a pack-and-play and a cart in the closet to take things to the beach. On the negative side, there were roaches in the kitchen-we gather they are called “palmetto bugs” in the south, and they were , of course, unappealing. Perhaps exterminators coming more frequently? Big water stain and crack in the ceiling of the second bedroom as well as stains around the ceiling vent in the second bath.
