Shorewood 504- Ocean Front Top Floor Spectacular Views!

  • This 5th floor condo accessible by elevator is direct ocean front with no obstructing views of the Atlantic Ocean. There is a private balcony off of the living room, there is a dining room with seating for 6. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need to cook a great meal.
    Shorewood 504 has all the amenities you would expect on your vacation, flat screen TV's, wireless internet, washer & dryer, DVD player.
    The primary bedroom has a king bed and private bath. The primary bedroom also has balcony access as a bonus, perfect place to go out an have your morning coffee.
    The guest bedroom has two twin beds, and a full bath accessible from the hallway. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room.
    The complex and grounds are immaculate well kept and the pool is the best on Forest Beach! Heated in March & April, October & November. It is cooled in those hot summers as well!! Hot Tub and Children's Pool are located on the main pool deck. Bathrooms and outdoor shower station are located just outside the pool area.
    Shorewood is located on the south end of the island near Coligny Plaza. This area is famous for the many restaurants and shops within walking distance. Get ready to put your feet in the sand!!

This was our families first time on Hilton Head and we loved Shorewood! We would definitely like to come back to the unit we stayed in! We loved the family feel this place has and the zero entry pool is great for kids! The management property did a great job communicating with us as well!

Great location with fantastic view of the ocean

Family of 4 stayed in this condo and had a wonderful, relaxing time. The kitchen and bathrooms are updated. The view of the ocean from this unit was spectacular. The location of the condo right by Coligny Plaza gave our teens somewhere to go on their own. We enjoyed the large zero entry pool and could always find a chair on the pool deck. The owners and management company are very responsive and accommodating.

Ceiling vents were dirty. Bread chunks and food under couch and furniture piece under tv. We vacuumed vents in bathrooms and swept the floor. Unit was very nice, other than the cleaning we had to do.

Condo could use a some updating, walls could use some touch-up and painting, guest bathroom mirror should be replaced. Mattresses very very soft. We love the size of this unit for our family of four, and how family-friendly it is with the pool and easy walk to the beach. It is in a convenient location to walk to Coligny Plaza or a short drive to most other spots.We did notice this time that upkeep and cleanliness had deteriorated since last visit. The kitchen and bathrooms are showing some wear. Many things, including ceiling fans and decorative items, appeared dusty. Elevator to fifth floor was slow and clunky.

Great Location; Inconvenient/Noisy Repairs Taking Place Again!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Shorewood condos before, but we may not do so again. This time there was roof repairs going on all week, causing a lot of noise and detours around the condo complex. We were not informed this was going to be going on. We stayed there in October 2020 when balcony repairs were happening, causing a lot of inconvenience and we couldn't even use the balcony space. The condo itself needed some repairs-the ceiling fan on the balcony doesn't work, there's mold on the ceiling and a rusty vent in the master bathroom, & the mirror in the 2nd bathroom needs replaced. The price was too high for the condition of the condo. Also, we went to the rental office at 4pm as instructed to check in, only to be told we didn't have to do that because we should have gotten a text with details saying we could go directly to the condo. We never got that text until after 6pm when we were already in the condo. Very disappointing experience.

This Unit has been updated with nice furniture, new kitchen, bathrooms were great. The down side is the kitchen has been badly neglected. We like to eat in most of the time. The coffee maker was trashed, the pans have been abused. We brought our own. There wasn't enough silverware or decent knives. The toaster was new and worked fine as did the appliances (the stove was missing a knob). Just a little TLC would make this unit perfect.
